Bullet Heart

Before:
While waiting for the shuttle with my AP Art class, i noticed a very broken corner of the station. I took a bunch of photos of this little corner, and this is a picture of what appears to be a bullet hole in the wall. i played around with photoshop and came up with this piece.

Robert Frank

:Photograph taken by Robert Frank in Charleston, South Carolina. Year 1955. Robert Frank took a cross-country trip around America, documenting his trip with photography. He called these photos "The Americans." He also traveled to various countries and cities. I am choosing not only this photograph, but his entire collection from America. I am taking a trip around the Bellmores and documenting it through my camera.

Revised artist's statement.

okay, forget all the movement mumbo jumbo. I noticed that most of my photographs are of people. therefore my actual concentration will be portrature. whether the person is real or fake. Maybe even what people have done to the natural beauty of the world. Overall, my concentrations will have something to do with people.

Artist's Statement

At first i wanted my concentration to be lust. Something involving the "want" drive that everybody feels. But after a while i realized that i wasn't achieving my goal. So i decided to change my concentration to Movement. Not just dancing, but any type of movement. The little things that make us. One of my ideas was to create a reenactment of Pangea; when all the continents were one. People of different ethnicities will represent a different country. I feel like this concentration will work out for me.

Adam & Eve

This became one of my favorite projects very quickly. I wanted my two friends to look almost like they were one. Much like Adam and Eve. The bush makes it more like that, and the sunset i think adds more to the picture.

Ink Drawing

We were allowed to go anywhere in the art center we wanted to draw anything we wished. I chose this. I used q-tips to paint with ink and I enjoyed using it very much. The lighting on the chair was what caught my eye. All I saw left was colorful experiments.
